EVERY MORNING WE HAVE THE …

“There are people who take the heart out of you, and there are people who put it back.” – Elizabeth David

EVERY MORNING WE HAVE THE GRAND OPPORTUNITY TO START ANEW. Life is brimming with new possibilities as we shed the covers and step forward into the new day. With what do you fill your day? On our proverbial plate of life, what is on it? Is it so FULL that we’re not even sure what’s really on there? Are we on life digestion overload? Don’t rush for the bottle of Tums, the antidote lies within us and within the heart. Turn your head and heart towards God, and listen with the ear of the heart to what should be on your plate within a 24 period.

WE ARE A GENERATION THAT CHOOSES… slow down, take notice, and think twice about the associations you place on your plate. What you allow in has great influence on your life. God wants only the highest and best for you. Take a moment to ask if everyone and everything holds a right fit in your day. Ask yourself, does this association, task, food, friend speak and accentuate the heaven of my day? If not, think twice. YOU have a solid choice in what you entertain in your life and with what and how you busy your days.

GOD IS NOT DRAMATIC, IMPATIENT or UNKIND. We have a loving Father that only wants the best for His children. Are you in agreement with what the Father wants for you? Consider your influence on others in your life, are you good food on their plate? Do you add or do you take energy in the lives of others?

LEAVE SOMEONE TOUCHED BY YOUR PRESENCE, it’s simple… go to the heart and act in service as God would act and take a few moments from your day to hold that special person high in your heart. The company you keep speaks volumes about what you think about yourself and what you give in your life. You get to choose the company you keep. Sometimes we need a little spring cleaning in our associations. Don’t be afraid to let go in love. There are associations that, at surface level, might appear just lovely. However, underneath the surface, there may be

jealousy, drama or behaviors that, when we really sit in our hearts we know it is unacceptable and not in the aligned view that God holds for us.

THERE IS GREAT POWER IN SILENCE AND NOT ENTERTAINING DRAMA. Find peace. Release others that are not good for you with love and forgiveness. And know that peace will find you in your heart. It is a promise from our Father to you. Pray and ask for guidance of what to fill your days with, be patient and take action when you get that knowing in your heart. Our lives and our time are a precious and valuable treasure. Let God answer more clearly with what and with whom your time should to be filled.

A SIMPLE PRAYER FOR A SIMPLE AND CLEAR DAY. Ask and pray for what people, food, activities and prayers need to be a part of your plate for the day. Ask and you shall receive. At first this will seem like quite a task to remember to do as you get out of bed in the morning, but like any good effort, with time, energy and love from your heart, it will be come easy and you will be amazed by how graceful you become in the orchestration of your days.

“There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; or you can live as if everything is a miracle.” …

“There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; or you can live as if everything is a miracle.” – Albert Einstein

To find yourself on miracle ground, you must first open your heart to the belief that they occur. Belief is a critical step to unfolding the miracles of our lives. We tend to place emphasis on growth and development as we age, but we forget that we must also place importance on growth in terms of the development of our hearts. Like all evolution, the changes that come with inner growth take time and may not be easy at first.

THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO REMEMBER THAT LIFE IS A MIRACLE.

Everyday you are given Life it’s a profound miracle in itself. To find a miracle in your day the clouds don’t have to part with angelic rays streaming down towards your face… even though that would be a cool way to receive a miracle. The sun simply has to rise. In this way, miracles surround us each day in grace and perfection.

MIRACLES ARE HERE, NOW AND ALWAYS UNFOLDING.

A miracle is an unexpected and evident demonstration of God’s love for you. I encourage you to confidently take God into all areas of your life. Any and all circumstances of your life can miraculously change for the better overnight, if you pray and give thanks with a true heart. Just know that God is desperately seeking you in the same manner. It is only a matter of time before what you seek is delivered in the form that is perfect for you. And in that time of waiting, only have the power to choose to see what will transpire, or has already transpired, is a miracle.

WHATEVER MIRACLE YOU SEEK, PLACE EQUAL VALUE IN GIVING THE VERY THING YOU ARE ASKING FOR.

It might mean bringing a miracle to another’s day or perhaps a deep act of self-love so that you are more open and able to give to others in your life. This action opens the door of the heart and makes the path clear for God who might reveal your miracle in an unexpected way.

MIRACLES NEED TO BE RECOGNIZED.

They are born in love and nurtured by it. Acknowledgment makes them multiply and deepen in the experience of your life. It is important to acknowledge that miracles you receive. Give thanks without ceasing. This is a very deep and profound way to let God know you deeply appreciate all the blessings you have been given, which opens you up to receive more.

KEEP A MIRACLE JOURNAL.

The miracle of your goodness is perfect and permanent, see with the eyes that God sees and miracles will not escape your gaze. A journal is a great way to acknowledge and record the small and grand unexpected gifts that come your way.

YOU ARE A MIRACLE.

Never loose site of this as you begin to marvel at the simple wonder of life around you and the limitless freedom our father has given to us. Continue to seek the miraculous and it will seek you. Open your heart to demonstrate the “up” side of life by focusing on miracle hunting. We are in times where simple demonstrations of faith in action can lead to profound changes in our world. It all starts with you and your heart. Pray, allow and humble yourself to the divine ways your life is unfolding in this very minute.

EVERY DAY AND EVERY MINUTE OF LIFE IS PRECIOUS WHEN YOU ARE STANDING ON MIRACLE GROUND.

When I look for God’s leadership and seek to find the good in my days, I find myself standing clearly on miracle ground. We are a generation that is empowered with great choice. You choose what eyes you see with. I urge you to consider that in the heart of man there is a cry for supply and in the heart of God there is an answer.

EASY DOES IT.

I would like to propose that “easy breezy” is not just for the Covergirls of the world. “Easy does it” works for all of us. The concept is simple; why is it so hard to put into effect?

We live in a world that often centers on the struggles of life. Our minds and conversations tend to focus on the difficulties, they are the pressing matters, they are the things we need to vent or for which we seek advice. I believe we have to train our minds and hearts to invite the easy in. Every morning we get the invitation to live in accordance with Divine will. It’s kind of like waking up and choosing to be on an amazing and easy breezy treasure hunt for joy. The hard part for most of us to understand is that in following our joy and finding the easy, we might be on unfamiliar ground that does not look like our current “to do” driven day. You cant get there by checking things off a list, you get there by opening your heart and mind to the treasures all around you.

Indeed, letting go of all the ways we micro-mange our days is work in of itself, but there is a natural flow to life that happens when we allow the divine to carry us versus continuing with the struggle to carry the burden of our days ourselves. This is a very different way to live and it might feel like going against the grain.

I speak only from a place of personal wisdom and discovery. I have found that when I follow the flow of my days with ease and joy, things just naturally fall into place. In this simple practice, I actually experience more productivity and feelings of true freedom, peace, and yes, even joy.

Struggle = resistance. Ease and letting go = Alignment with God

God is truly a better manager of my days than I ever will be… I find that when I center and focus on the happiness of my heart and start my days with gratitude of all my blessings, the orchestration of my day is far greater than I could have ever planned. Hidden joys reveal themselves throughout. Center on your purpose and align with something far greater than yourself each day, and then allow the answers and timing to unfold with ease. The right people will come, synchronicity will happen, situations ease up, money comes, and a happy heart unfolds.

Please understand that I’m not negating that we go through difficulties in lives or that we will continually be presented with challenges and painful situations. This is how God helps us grow. I believe in those situations we get to choose – struggle or ease. Letting go might be hardest thing we do. But the joy of ease is a worthy cause.

GOOD FOOD FOR THOUGHT:

Think of a simple prayer or situation that you were really stressing over. Think how it was resolved or answered. Was the delivery of the answer or prayer up to you? More than likely it was a surprise or orchestration that happened beyond your control. In the moment that the answer is revealed, a lot of times it all seems so simple. I propose that your situation was eased through the allowing the answers to be received by your heart. The struggle comes when you internally doubt or don’t believe you’ll receive your answer. Recalling and acknowledging actual situations where everything did unfold with ease will help you on this journey. Talk about it, share with others that support you in this belief, come together to highlight the good of your days over the struggles. The more you acknowledge the ease and good, the more God gives. In the acknowledgment, you are heard and in some ways asking for more of that very thing. So cultivate the treasure hunt of life and ask yourself ”where can I find the ease in this?”

A simple question, yes. I believe the fun part is that you will receive the answer in miraculous, inspiring, and joyful ways. Easy breezy IS beautiful.

LOOK FOR THE GOOD. AND THE GOOD WILL FIND YOU.
Let’s face it, life is filled with many situations and people that can in a sense …

LOOK FOR THE GOOD. AND THE GOOD WILL FIND YOU.

Let’s face it, life is filled with many situations and people that can in a sense become the “kill joys” of our days. These experiences invite us to look away from our good. It takes great courage to look for a deeper perspective, to self-reflect, and to simply look for the good. Even when a situation seems adverse, there is always good unfolding behind the scenes. Many times this is not for us to know, it’s God’s job to deliver the answer. It’s our job to ask, and to cultivate the faith in action to receive the answer. See each situation for it for what it is and be at peace that your good is coming and your questioning will be answered. People love to gossip and chatter about what’s going “wrong” in our world. What happened to the notion that many things are going “right”. It takes courage to swim up stream and invite a different perspective in the world.

I do my best each day to look for the good in people and experiences as my day unfolds. I have my challenges, just like anyone else. The real work behind looking for the good comes when you are cut off on the road, you loose your job, you loose a love, or receive a nasty e-mail… the list of potential adversities could go on and on, some serious and some small. But I believe that these are the times when the most important work begins and by opening yourself to the good, true joy can be fostered in your life.

Can we look past the gray areas of life and seek to find the good that God is unfolding before our eyes? Finding the good, is the seed. The more seeds of positive thought and richer perspective we plant, the more positive our lives grow as a whole. Hold positive expectancy for all situations and people in your life… even when you don’t really feel like it. The moment will pass, the situation will change, everything heals in time. You hold the seed in your hand, it is up to you to choose to plant and nurture it. When you put this simple concept into action, unlimited miracles and joy unfold.
There is goodness in everyone. There is good in everything. I invite you to find the courage to begin looking for good in your daily life – in all ways, in all times. Find people and friends that support you in this. There is power when two or more gather and agree. Empower yourself to find the joy and goodness that your life holds. For truly, God is good. And life is good. This, I believe is a simple truth.

Wonder according to webster: “a cause for surprise; astonishing; a miracle”
Look with wonder at all that is before you. There are miracles waiting in the …

Wonder according to webster: “a cause for surprise; astonishing; a miracle”

Look with wonder at all that is before you. There are miracles waiting in the wings. I had a wise yoga teacher tell me ” Live in the Mystery.” His message fell on my ears in the middle of a challenging balance pose, when I felt sure to topple over at any moment. Mystery. Wonder. Joy.
I made it through the pose and realized these simple things can elude us if we fail to take notice of their presence in the small moments of our lives. We simply must love the questions of life as much as we love the answers. This is where the wonder unfolds. I believe, that in order to find the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth we must redirect our gaze and soften our hearts, find willingness, ask questions, send up prayer, and be as open as a child to the mystery, wonder, and joy in any given moment. I know the simplicity of the idea seems light and fluffy and whimsical but the task of seeing the wonder around you may require new eyes. It’s an act of faith in knowing that life unfolds in mystery and positive expectancy for that which is good. Life is a gift. Children understand this. As we become adults, it easy to forget the very simple things in life, like wonder and joy. But if we open your eyes and ears and hearts, everyday can become an act of preparation and expectancy for good. The more we seek to find wonder and gratitude, the more it will fill our lives.

BECOME A WONDER HUNTER:

It’s really pretty simple. Life is really pretty simple. Strip away the complexity and become more childlike in expression. No I don’t mean throw a temper tantrum. though with the drama of our days that might be the easier thing to do. Instead, take a little time each day to be grateful. Acknowledge what amazes you. Let your eyes see the powerful things God is unfolding in your life. Let your mind listen to the questions your heart is asking. In the challenge of your day, look for the good. Ask yourself, “How am I growing from this experience?.” Each day is a gift, it’s new from the moment you wake up each morning. Each day you have the opportunity to awaken and open your eyes and ears and heart. Celebrate that alone. Gather friends and support each other in looking for the wonders in life, talk about your experiences, share and create community around this. Miracles are sure to follow.

It’s far too easy to give our attention to the drama of life. What would happen if we lived a bit more in the mystery, the astonishment, the miracle and wonder of life? What would our days look like then? I welcome you to find out.
